Lesley Harrison
Minister
Lesley Harrison is our full time intercultural minister with responsibility for all aspects of the life of the congregation. In partnership with the staff and volunteer leadership her role is to develop the discipleship of all members and to encourage our visioning and planning for the future. She is committed to connecting with the surrounding neighbourhood and collaborating on community development initiatives. Lesley began her ministry with Knox in 2019 after 10 years of pastoral ministry experience in Saskatchewan and Nicaragua and 17 years of program staff experience in ministry development and ministry renewal. Damber Khadka
Student Minister
Damber Khadka is our 3/4 time student minister and the coordinator of the Jai Mashi Ministry at Knox. Damber was a pastor in the refugee camps of Nepal where the Nepali-speaking Bhutanese community lived for almost 20 years. He is currently furthering his theological education through a distance program at Atlantic School of Theology with a goal to be ordained in the United Church. Damber began with a very small Nepali-speaking fellowship which grew into about 80 people. He provides care and support, spiritual guidance and practical advocacy. At Knox the Nepali-speaking group continue in worship following our inter-cultural service on Sundays. [English, Nepali, Bhutanese & Hindi]

Lisa Lee
Secretary/Receptionist
Lisa Lee is the welcome when people call or come into the church Monday to Friday. Lisa joined us in 2018. Her job is varied and everyday brings something new. Her tasks in keeping information flowing, overseeing space bookings, publishes the newsletter and oversees the website. She also provides reception for Knox Employment Entry program. Yoshi Masaki
Minister Emeritus
Yoshi Masaki is the Minister Emeritus of the Knox Japanese Ministry. He continues to provide Japanese language worship services on the third Sunday of every month as well as pastoral care for our Japanese members. The Japanese congregation began in 1942 after the displacement of Japanese Canadians during World War 2. Yoshi served full time from 1973 to 2001 [English & Japanese]

Alex Milevic
Music Director
Alex Milevic shares his musical talents with the congregation on sundays. An accomplished keyboardist, Alex plays the piano and the organ and leads singing, in a wide range of languages, with his strong singing voice. Alex is the anchor for the other musicians and choral leaders who form the music leadership team. He is a recent graduate from CMU with a degree in music and teaches music in the city. Dave Sveinson
Building Coordinator
During the day Dave Sveinson plays an important role in providing building oversight, doing odd jobs, ensuring property issues are dealt with, while offering a pleasant welcome. Dave also coordinates the Noon Break program and is an active member of the congregation.

Abdul Said
Caretaker
Abdul Said is the carrier of memory as the longest serving member of staff. If anyone knows where to find something, it will be Abdul. He works evenings and weekends, often greeting folks upon arrival, helping groups set up and cleaning up afterwards. [English, Swahili and Arabic]

Buddhi Lal Kami
Caretaker
In 2018 Buddhi Lal Kami was engaged to provide caretaking services, working evenings and weekends. He helps groups to set up and cleans. He is never without a warm smile. He, along with his family, are keys members of the Jai Mashi ministry. [Nepali and English]
