Food Bank guests are welcomed with hot coffee, friendly smiles and a dry, warm place to wait until they are served.

To register for the Food Bank at Knox, contact Winnipeg Harvest.

The Food Bank program is offered in partnership with Winnipeg Harvest.  Every other Tuesday morning (starting at 11:00 am) we serve up to 50 families.  The Food Bank is held in McLeod Hall on the lower level.  It is fully accessible. (see Contact Us for information on accessing the building.)

To participate in the Food Bank registration is required. Winnipeg Harvest makes the decision about which Food Bank location people will attend.  Registration is required prior to each Food Bank date.

Visit Winnipeg Harvest website, or call, for more information.

Registration with Winnipeg Harvest requires a Manitoba health card number.

Winnipeg Harvest restricts access to a Food Bank to every second week.  Families that attend a Food Bank at Knox, will not be able to attend another Winnipeg Food Bank for 2 weeks.  It is possible to attend Knox’s Food Bank on an ongoing basis, registration is required for each Food Bank date.

It is recommended to register well in advance, as Food Bank lists quickly fill up.

Participants must present their Manitoba Health Card to pick up food.

The Knox Food Bank is entirely organized and led by volunteers who set up and prepare the hospitality, pick the food up from the Winnipeg Harvest warehouse, set up and distribute the food and clean up afterward.  It is  good, but hard work and volunteers are always welcome.  Contact the office to find out how you can help out!
