Community and Service: The Philipino Connection

The Philipino Connection ministry provides a network for folks with roots or connections to the Philippines to find community and offer service to the congregation. They have an impressive history of caring since their beginnings with the mentorship of Rev. David Murata more than 20 years ago.

The Connection is core to the amazing hospitality and food services which Knox is known for, particularly the bi-weekly Food Bank  and the food which is on offer after Sunday services each week. These folks bring vibrancy to Knox’s outreach.  They have also undertake many special fund raising initiatives, including support for the kitchen renovations.

They offer Bible Study each Friday night, held in the home of one of the members (see Coming Events for details or sign up for our newsletter), and support to the newcomers in the congregation.
